🎒 Golden Rule: Pack Light!
Storage space on a sailboat is limited. Everything needs to fit in small compartments, not closets. We recommend a collapsible duffel bag rather than hard luggage.
You'll be surprised how little you actually need. When in doubt, leave it out!
What NOT to Bring
✗
Hard-Shell Luggage
Storage on boats is limited to soft compartments. Use a collapsible duffel bag instead.
✗
High Heels
Impractical and dangerous on boat decks. Stick to flat, non-marking shoes.
✗
Black-Soled Shoes
They leave marks on the deck. White or light-colored soles only.
✗
Excessive Electronics
Limited charging capacity. Bring only what you'll actually use.
✗
Valuable Jewelry
Risk of loss overboard. Leave expensive items at home.
✗
Regular Sunscreen
Non-reef-safe products harm marine life. Bring mineral-based SPF only.
